Q - question

Advanced pressure drop calculations in Revit (multiple connections).

A - answer When dealing with duct pressure drop calculation for a fitting or accessory with more than two connectors in Revit MEP, the default options for loss method calculation are limited to coefficient from the ASHRAE table.

By using the Pressure Drops add-in, it is possible to input the specific coefficient for ductwork elements with three or more connections. This enables the calculation of pipe pressure loss without relying on the values provided by ASHRAE tables.
