Q - question

Do you know the AutoCAD command "space invaders"?

A - answer This command is not documented (of course you can find it in our complete database of AutoCAD commands) and so it is not very well known.

With the obvious reference to the game "Space invaders" the command name TSPACEINVADERS is easier to remember. This Express Tools function handles the invader-entities that "invade" the zone of drawing texts - i.e. the drawing geometry that strikes through the texts.

After you run the command, select the analyzed objects (texts or all) and the command makes a selection of those texts that are touched by other geometry. Then you can move these texts or add a mask to them - use the command TEXTMASK (with the selection "P") to add a background mask that will improve readability of the text.

Make sure you have Express Tools installed (a setup option)
