DUP - easily duplicate AutoCAD drawing objects.

A - answer The DUP add-on utility for AutoCAD will create an exact duplicate copy of any selected drawing objects. It works like the command "COPY 0,0,0" - copies the object with null displacement, making two or more exact copies on top of the original object.

The duplicated object is on the same same layer, has the same properties - it is an identical object in the same place.

You can download the DUP freeware utility from and load it with APPLOAD. Then you can type the DUP command to make one or more duplicate copies of the selected object (the copy remains grip-selected to easily create another copy), or the DUP2 command to make multiple copies in one go.
