Error 1618 while installing Revit.

When Installing or updating Autodesk Revit, you may receive an installation error:

Error Code: 1618

Or: Installation aborted, Result=1618

This error indicates that another instance of the Windows installer is already running. This is often be caused by a failure of a previous installation. In most cases a system restart will help, or you can try to rerun the setup with higher user rights (Administrator). Also try to temporarily switch off the Windows User Account Control (UAC).
