Q - question

How to get machining data from a thread designed in Fusion?

A - answer In Autodesk Fusion 360, you can now use the parametric information from the model, including thread parameters, for a specific manufacturing strategy - such as thread turning.

After selecting the desired tool and thread area, you can select preset parameters from your model thread definition in the thread turning parameters.

E.g. for the thread depth, use "Edit expression" with the parameter auto_threadDepth, so that the depth value will always reflect the value from the design/model. Similarly for the thread pitch, use Expression and the parameter auto_threadPitch, so that also the thread pitch will be automatically updated from your model.
