Q - question

How to import Solid Edge parts and assemblies into Autodesk Inventor?

A - answer Inventor 2018.1 (and higher) allows to import .asm, .par and .psm CAD files coming from the software application Solid Edge. Besides direct opening of these file types you can also use associative links with such files thanks to the extended function AnyCAD.

SolidEdge files of the versions V18 to V20 and ST1 to ST9 are supported.

In older Inventor versions you can use one of the CAD exchange formats to transfer your 3D CAD data - e.g. STEP, Parasolid, etc.
