Q - question

How to rename a view or section in Inventor?

A - answer When you want to change the name of a view, detail, or section in an Inventor drawing sheet, you can do it with the context menu. Right-click on the target view and choose "Edit View" from the gesture menu. Then change the value of "View identifier" in the View dialog.

Another option for renaming a view is changing it directly in the browser tree - long-click on its name.
