If you edit linetypes, hatch patterns, units or other AutoCAD definition files, make sure that AutoCAD really works with your edited version of the file and that a similar file is not anywhere else in the AutoCAD support path.

The particular version of the file which will be used by AutoCAD can be detected with the LISP function (findfile) - enter e.g. the commands:

(findfile "ACADISO.LIN")
(findfile "ACAD.PAT")

The full path of the current file will be listed.
