Overview of CAD formats supported in Inventor 2016 (import/export).

A - answer Autodesk Inventor 2016 (incl. its versions in Autodesk Design Suites) supports import and export of broad range of CAD formats. Version 2016 contains (besides its native data formats) translators for these "foreign" and neutral CAD formats and format versions (data import/export, new formats compared to 2015 are highlighted):
