If you want to create text (e.g. for engraving, 3D prints) on your products, the content (wording) of which will depend on some variable - e.g. dimensional parameter, project parameter, component name, date, version, etc. - you cannot use the standard dimensional parameters in Fusion. They do not work in the standard text dialog.

In these case, you can help yourself with the free plugin "ParametricText", which can be downloaded and installed from Autodesk Apps.

Use it to create any dynamic text for subsequent extrusion into 3D and other Fusion modeling features.
