Purging small objects from a DWG drawing - PurgeSmall.
A - answer With the freeware utility PurgeSmall you can remove all small (perhaps unimportant, too detailed) objects from your drawing in one go, e.g. before submitting the DWG. Specify the limit size and PurgeSmall will delete all objects smaller than this size, including empty objects (zero lines, space texts) and including small objects nested in blocks. It considers the bounding box of each object.

Always work with a copy of the drawing, do not use PurgeSmall to clean up your "source" drawings. You may inadvertently delete various auxiliary "infopoint" objects and invisible entities needed for various AutoCAD extensions.

Download PurgeSmall from the Download page, load it with the APPLOAD command and run it by typing the PURGESMALL command.

Specify the minimum allowable dimension. The application then deletes all objects whose dimension in any direction (XY or XYZ) does not exceed the specified size. This removes e.g. embedded details from the drawing.
