Q - question

Do Autodesk products support the enhanced instruction set of Pentium-4 processor?

A - answer Currently (11/2001) no. Nevertheless P-4 provides more power (than the older CPUs) even with the standard instruction set.

But Intel Pentium 4 optimization is available for 3ds max 4 (see www.cadstudio.cz/download) and it offers (with some operations) a performance increase of about 20%.
