How to use continued (chained) dimensions of a segmented object (a facade with many recessions), so that all extension lines have the same length (start in the same distance from the common dimension line)?

Define your own block for the dimensioning "arrow" (similar to _oblique or _archtick), which will contain not only the arrow but also the extension line (of the selected length). Switch off AutoCAD's own extension lines using the dimensioning style. (R.Riha)
