To view and manipulate 3D models of assemblies from Autodesk Inventor or Mechanical Desktop or AutoCAD you can use VRML format files.

Use VRMLout (VRML Translator) to convert your scene to VRML and Pocket Cortona viewer to display 3D models on a PocketPC (Windows Mobile - iPAQ, Jornada...).

Another, new and more advanced option is to use the Autodesk Inventor Publisher Mobile Viewer for iPhone and iPad.
