You can either use the front panel on your peripheral device (if you have an internal LAN card) and set DHCP IP addressing, or use the interactive HP Web JetAdmin software (download) or just use TELNET to configure your LAN port. Try to telnet to the default IP address 192.0.0.192 and follow the menus to setup the TCP/IP parameters.
Print the config page (front panel function or a button on the LAN card) to find the current IP address.
