Q - question

Font style does not offer Italic or Bold style.

A - answer The Text style dialog lacks the Italic or Bold options in the Font style select box - the box is either grayed out (inaccessible) or doesn't contain the Italic option.
Font styles are not available for SHX fonts. The TrueType font (TTF) styles depend on the definition of the particular TrueType font - some fonts do not contain their italic or bold versions.
