How to find what is stored in which layer?

A - answer Especially with large drawings you may need to find (and display) quickly which objects/entities lay in a particular layer.
To find this you can either use the LAYWALK tool from Express Tools or a part of the LAYTRANS command. In this command, set the 'Show layer contents when selected' option under 'Settings...'. After you select a layer (or layers) in the 'Translate from' list, the drawing will display only contents of the selected layer(s). Exit the dialog with Cancel.
