Especially with large drawings you may need to find (and display) quickly which objects/entities lay in a particular layer.
To find this you can either use the LAYWALK tool from Express Tools or a part of the LAYTRANS command. In this command, set the 'Show layer contents when selected' option under 'Settings...'. After you select a layer (or layers) in the 'Translate from' list, the drawing will display only contents of the selected layer(s). Exit the dialog with Cancel. Another method is the SHOLAYER utility (see DL Download).
