Q - question

After the latest Windows update, Inventor doesn't display drawing texts!

A - answer Be careful when installing the Windows Update KB918118 from 13.2.2007!

Warning, the automatic Microsoft Windows Update KB918118 (MS07-013 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, and Office) collides with displaying texts in Inventor IDW files.

You can solve this problem by installing a fix issued by Autodesk - see www.xanadu.cz/download.

You can also postpone installing the KB918118 hotfix. If you have already installed this hotfix, run Add/Remove programs from Windows Control Panels, check the "Show updates" checkbox on top and uninstall this hotfix. Then restart your computer.
