Q - question

Label printed drawings automatically with user name and computer name.

A - answer When plotting on a central network plotter you may have problems to identify the user who has printed a particular drawing job.

In such situations you can use an automatic user identification label inserted in DWG drawings (may be also used in DWT templates). Use the PLOTSTAMP function or text fields. This will take the user name and PC name from the respective system variables.

You can find an example of a dynamic block with such label (to be placed next to the drawing frame) in the Net_ID block in our CAD blocks catalog.
