How to suppress files in the OldVersions folders?

Inventor creates backup files (previous versions) in the "OldVersions" subfolders.

If you want to disable this functionality (creating files, not the subfolders) set the project parameter "Old Versions To Keep On Save" to 0 (click on the pencil button). You can find this setting in the Project dialog under the Open file dialog.

Do not underestimate creating backup versions of your files. Do not switch off creating backup files in production environments.
