Inventor 2009 allows to use a new function "Geometry aligned text" in sketch modes (part modeling and sketch drawing views). This function draws the entered text along selected lines, arcs and circles.

You can specify the direction, orientation, alignment, offset and other parameters of your text. The text stays associative with the selected geometry so when you change it, the text flow is updated.
