How to set length units in MapGuide Viewer to kilometers?

A - answer Right-click on the map and choose Settings (Options, Preferences, Voreinstellungen) in the context menu Information (About). Set Map units to meters or kilometers.
The true textual contents of the right-click menu can be modified by the author of Web application.
