Q - question

Surface texture symbol with predefined texts and symbols.

A - answer Using a simple trick you can extend the Inventor annotation functions with the option to insert surface texture symbols (roughness) with predefined texts and symbols, with text copy/paste.

First you need to add the russian ESKD standard to your Inventor. Using the ribbon Tools > Options > Add-Ins open the "Add-In Manager" dialog and enable loading of the module "ESKD Support":

ESKD

The Inventor tab "Annotate" will immediately change to "Annotate (ESKD)" and new tools will appear in it - besides the customizable surface texture symbols, soldering, glueing and stitching symbols, there will be also the predefined "Technical requirements" texts (enhanced note editor with templates).

When you now insert the surface texture symbol using Symbols > Surface Texture, the "Surface Texture" will be displayed and here you can choose from predefined and last-used symbol texts.

Surface Texture

Your user options for surface texture symbol parametrization will be silimilar than those in AutoCAD Mechanical.
