Xref objects are displayed in a different color.

If you drawing objects from xrefs suddenly display in a different (wrong) color hue, there may be four different reasons:

Recoloring on plot or in layouts: plot styles were probably assigned (by color or by style)
Faded display: check the setting of XDWGFADECTL
Check the setting of layer transparency for xref layers
VISRETAIN – try to set VISRETAIN=0, reload your xref, return back VISRETAIN=1
