If you have a custom palette containing references to DWG blocks (files), which should be moved to a different path (e.g. after you transfer the palette to another PC), you can edit the path to your DWG files directly in the palette source file.

The palette definition files (.ATC) can be found in the folder c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2011\R18.1\enu\Support\ToolPalette\Palettes. Open the XML file of the palette (.ATC) in Notepad and edit the path of your block - see e.g.: < SourceFile>%SampleFolder%\Dynamic Blocks\Civil - Metric.dwg< /SourceFile>.

You can also use the same process for the exported palette files XTP just before you reimport them.
