Q - question

How to change the default display style for Ortho views in Plant 3D?

A - answer When generating 2D views, AutoCAD Plant automatically loads a template with the default display style Conceptual. This may cause performance problems with loading the model on large projects. You can speed up model loading by setting the ortho view display style to a simpler Wireframe. This can be done in the template file OrthoTemp.dwt, available in the default AutoCAD template path:

E.g. for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014 it is:

c:\Users\USETNAME\appdata\local\autodesk\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014\R19.1\enu\Template\OrthoTemp.dwt

(see also LOCALROOTPREFIX)
