Q - question

How to increase the offset between MLeader text and underline?

A - answer There is no "vertical offset" parameter in the MLeader (multileader) properties - the offset between the leader text and the horizontal segment of the leader line seems to be fixed. It is also not possible to "drag" the text using grips.

You can use a trick to increase this offset. First edit (by double-click, or in the Properties palette) the text of the leader - add the characters [Enter] and [Space] (will appear as "\P " in the Contents). Now use the properties (Ctrl+1) "Line space factor" (or "Line space distance") to change the the text offset - e.g. enter the value 0.3. Text will move higher above the leader extension line.
