If you want to join a 3D polyline with another one, or with a spline, you can use the command JOIN. This function joins also two or more 3D polylines into one, or joins a 3D polyline with a spline to a new spline curve.

You can use JOIN for 3D lines (geometry) also in AutoCAD LT.
