Q - question

How to select all blocks with the same name?

A - answer You can use the QSELECT or FILTER commands to select all blocks with a given name.

But there is also a quicker way - you can use a simple macro which selects all blocks of the same name as a picked block (block reference, Insert). The SELBLK.LSP macro can be found on Download.

Load the LSP file with APPLOAD and then anywhere AutoCAD prompts to "Select objects" just type 'SELBLK (or 'SELBLKS for multiple block names, or 'SELBLKN for typed block names, wildcards).
