Q - question

How to select all blocks with the same name?

A - answer You can use the QSELECT or FILTER commands to select all blocks with a given name.

But there is also a quicker way - you can use a simple macro which selects all blocks of the same name as a picked block (block reference, Insert). The SELBLK.LSP macro can be found on www.cadstudio.cz/download.

Load the LSP file with APPLOAD and then anywhere AutoCAD prompts to "Select objects" just type 'SELBLK (or 'SELBLKS for multiple block names, or 'SELBLKN for typed block names, wildcards).
