You can preset the default projection (camera) for 3D models of parts and assemblies in Inventor. Your models will be automatically displayed either in an orthographic or perspective projection.

This setting can be done in the Application Options - Tools > Application options > Display > Settings > Projection - see the icons:

You can subsequently change the projection type using the ViewCube.
