Q - question

What EDM solution can I use to manage my CAD documents?

A - answer There are many document management (DMS) products supporting documents (drawings) from AutoCAD, Mechanical/Architectural Desktop or Inventor.

You can choose between standalone applications and client-server systems (mostly using intranet technology). Many systems also offer some kind of integration to AutoCAD or Inventor application/functions (drawing title, xfers...). More complex applications offer advanced PDM, workflow and project management functions.

You can look at www.cyco.com, www.smarteam.com, www.eigner.com, www.synergis-adept.com, or our www.iproject.cz.
