How to convert a 3D model of a building to the gbXML (Green Building XML) building description format for energy analysis?

Use the gbXML plugin for Architectural Desktop (developed by CAD Studio/XANADU for GeoPraxis) - it can also communicate directly with the Green Building Studio (www.greenbuildingstudio.com) web service. This application analyses and calculates building's energy costs during the early stages of design.

Autodesk Building Systems 2005 and Revit 6.1 (and higher) include export to the gbXML format.
