Backward compatibility of the AutoCAD DWG formats.

The DWG format of AutoCAD drawings is regularly updated after a couple of releases. New AutoCAD release always supports reading of all older DWG file formats and writing of some older DWG formats.

Which DWG formats are directly supported by the individual AutoCAD releases (and which can be saved using SaveAs)?:

2010: 2010 (2007/2008/2009, 2004/2005/2006, 2000/2000i/2002, R14)
2009: 2007/2008/2009 (2004/2005/2006, 2000/2000i/2002, R14)
