Q - question

Two undocumented commands in AutoCAD 2006/2007.

A - answer AutoCAD version 2006 (and higher) contains two undocumented commands which update the attribute extraction tables (EATTEXT).

The EATTEXTEDIT command allows to edit the definition of the extracted table (manual attribute edit, adding new attributes). Select the extracted table before starting this command.

The EATTEXTUPDATE command invokes update of the extracted table, e.g. after changes performed in attributes of the drawing blocks. This command is equivalent to the the Update function in the table context menu. Select the table before starting this command.
