Q - question

Visualize the view vector of a AutoCAD camera.

A - answer In AutoCAD 2007 and higher you can enable the CAMERADISPLAY variable to show the camera icons and visualize their view vectors and view cones (point of view).

In any AutoCAD version (2000+, with the CAMERA command) you can quickly draw the camera direction vector with the CAMLINE utility by CAD Studio - see Download.
