On Windows Vista (both 32-bit and 64-bit) you can install and run the following versions of Autodesk 3ds Max:

Autodesk 3ds Max 2009, Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009, Autodesk 3ds max 2008, or Autodesk 3ds max 9 Service Pack 2 (SP2)
