Is there a missing TRIANGLE command in AutoCAD? No, to draw a equilateral triangle, use the POLYGON command and enter the number of sides: 3.

Scalene (irregular) or right-angled (rectangled) triangles can be drawn using a triangular-shaped polyline (pline) with a help of osnaps. To construct a triangle defined by the given lenghts of its 3 sides or by the length and included angles, use the LISP add-on utility CADstudio TRIANGLE (the TRIANGLE command, see DL Download). The Triangle utility also offers an option to automatically label the triangle vertices and sides.
