Q - question

Rough display or circular edges and faces in Inventor.

A - answer If you get too rough display of arcs, circular edges and surfaces in Inventor, you may have set a too low display quality. Increase the display quality settings. Compare e.g. these rough and smooth display settings:

You can find this setting in the "Aplication Options" dialog, on the Display tab, in the pane Display > Display quality. To increase the quality of display, you may also want to disable the option "Disable Automatic Refinement".

Your display quality may be also influenced by the parameters of your graphics card and by the hardware settings on the tab Application Options > Hardware > Graphics Setting. You will need to restart Inventor after any change in these settings.
