Q - question

What file formats can be saved from SketchBook Designer 2012?

A - answer The sketching application Autodesk SketchBook Designer 2012 (part of many "Design Suites") can draw freehand vector drawings (sketches) and store these drawings to many formats.

SketchBook can directly save the following file formats:

  • DWG (R14, 2000-2010)
  • PSD (incl. layers)
  • TIFF
  • PNG
  • BMP
  • JPG
  • PBM (portable bitmap)
  • SVG
Directly saved DWG files are readable only with the SketchBook support. The contents of DWG files saved using the Export function are displayed in AutoCAD as spline curves and lines.
