Q - question

Where from comes the layer $AUDIT-BAD-LAYER ?

A - answer The layer "$AUDIT-BAD-LAYER" is created during the drawing diagnostics process - the AUDIT command. This layer contains objects that were incorrectly placed in a wrong layer.

Typically, this situation occurs when some objects were drawn in the dimension control points definition layer - DEFPOINTS.

Erase the objects from the DEFPOINTS layer, perform PURGE, Save & Close and reopen the drawing. Now repeat the AUDIT - the AUDIT-BAD-LAYER should not reappear.
