When you suppress (switch off) cell borders in a table (in table style or with the no-border option), the cell borders (grids) are still displayed.

Suppressing cell borders applies only to print/plot, they are still displayed on screen as faded (gray). If you want to switch off the borders also for display, switch off the layer DEFPOINTS (with the bulb icon).
