AutoCAD 2011 doesn't display documentation views from ACAD 2012.

Despite that AutoCAD 2012, 2011 and 2010 use the same version of the DWG format, some new objects stored in the DWG format may not be readable for the older versions.

The example are the documentation 2D views automatically generated in AutoCAD 2012 from 3D models. To be able to display these 2D views also in AutoCAD 2011 and 2010, you need first to install the neccessary "object enabler" for the older versions. The free AutoCAD 2012 Model Documentation Object Enabler can be downloaded from www.cadstudio.cz/download
