Q - question

How to open CAL raster images in AutoCAD?

A - answer The CAL (CALS) raster file format is supported in AutoCAD Raster Design. Raster Design supports the CALS Type 1 format (.cal/.mil/.rst/.cg4).

You can add the support of Raster Design file formats to plain AutoCAD by installing the free "Raster Design Object Enabler" in a version specific to your AutoCAD version - see Download.

You can then use the standard AutoCAD IMAGE commands to attach CAL images to your DWG files.
