Q - question

Error: AutoCAD requires 1024 by 768 resolution or higher to run.

A - answer

ACAD 1024

If AutoCAD displays the error message (dialog): "AutoCAD requires 1024 by 768 resolution or higher to run" on its launch, make sure that your current screen resolution is higher than 1024x768 (in both directions) and check your compatibility settings.

Right-click on your AutoCAD icon, choose Properties and on the Compatibility tab check that no Compatibility and Settings options are selected.

NB: if these options are grayed (inactive), you have a 64-bit CAD application
