If you need to create a terrain model (DTM) from a source drawing containing 3DFACE entities, you may need to first convert these entities to another object type.

With the LISP utility 3DF2L (see Download) you can convert (explode) 3D faces to polylines or 3D lines (LINE), which can be used as definition data for computing or analysis of terrain surfaces.
