Q - question

How to use 3DFACEs as a definition for terrain surface?

A - answer If you need to create a terrain model (DTM) from a source drawing containing 3DFACE entities, you may need to first convert these entities to another object type.

With the LISP utility 3DF2L (see www.xanadu.cz/download) you can convert 3D faces to 3D lines (LINE), which can be used as definition data for computing or analysis of terrain surfaces.
