Projecting/embossing a profile on a curved surface in Fusion 360.

A - answer Simplified functionality to project and emboss any profile (2D sketch, text, logo) onto any 3D surface in the new version of Autodesk Fusion 360. You can now emboss or deboss any 2D profile onto a curved surface of a 3D solid, such as a sphere.

In earlier versions of Fusion, various special and complicated procedures were needed for this purpose.
