You can use the HYPERLINK command to link any external document to your drawing (to a drawing object).

To link a XLS (Excel) file and a specific cell or area in it, you can use the following formats of links:

  
C:\Documents\mytable.XLS#B5  
E:\Documents\othertable.XLS#A2:C5
