Q - question

Undocumented AutoCAD system variables.

A - answer Some AutoCAD variables are poorly documented and even not listed in the SETVAR ? command. Use these variables carefully as they are not officially supported and can be changed in future versions. You can e.g. use:
_LINFO hardlock serial No. - only as (getvar "_LINFO")
_SERVER		network license
ENTMODS incremented on any drawing change
GLOBCHECK	[0,1,2,3] 3=shows DCL dialog size
MILLISECS	milliseconds counter (since R2002)
NOMUTT		= 1 - mute all messages
QAFLAGS	[0 - 32767] - sum of values:
	bit 1 (1)   = ^C in menu cancels grips
	bit 2 (2) = screen listings not paused by 'press ENTER' (e.g. good for layer exports or LIST)
	bit 4 (8)   = no "alert" boxes
	bit 8 (128) = screen picks can be used in (command)
        bit 10 (512)= sets bind type to Insert in R14
SHORTCUTMENU	add 16 (bit-value) to enable long-click functionality
SPACESWITCH	blocks paper/modelspace double-click switching
APBOX reports the on/off status of the aperture box

You can lookup a list of all AutoCAD variables here in the section AutoCAD variables.
