How to publish DWF from SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, SolidEdge or CATIA?

A - answer For publishing of 2D and 3D design data in the DWF (and DWFx) format from non-Autodesk CAD applications like Microstation, SolidWorks 2005, Pro/ENGINEER 2.0, SolidEdge, CATIA, UGS NX, etc. you can use the "Autodesk DWF Writer" driver and "Autodesk DWF Writer for 3D", "Autodesk DWF Writer for Pro/ENGINEER" or "Autodesk® DWF™ Writer for SolidWorks".
