Even in the AutoCAD LT environment you can call system functions and execute commands to e.g. manipulate files and folders.

For instance to create a new directory (folder) first prepare (e.g. with Notepad) a text file (e.g. C:\MakeDir.cmd) containing a single line:

MKDIR C:\MyNewFolder
Then call (start) this command file from AutoCAD LT with the command:

AI_STARTAPP C:/MakeDir.cmd
This will result in a newly created folder "MyNewFolder" on the disk C:.

Similarly you can copy files, rename files and folders, etc.
